Bowser 585 B Gasoline Pump Philips 66 Flite Fuel Petrobelia Petroliana Rol Way 585-b gasoline pump with original. After standard oil bought out phillips. nA illustrated guide to gas pumps. Calls this a rol-way model and dates ti from 1948 to 1951. It measures 57 1/2 in height, 21 wide and is 15 deep. Note first of all that the last two photographs were lifted from teh internet and are in no way associated with this sale. They are included here to illustrate how a restored bowser 585 looks, and to show the preferred shield-shaped globe for this particular pump.
This pump si in excellent pre-restored condition. It is absolutely original, and has not been altered since it was removed from a srevice station in western kentucky. The metal panels are in great shape with no denst or rust. The stainless trim pieces are in good shape. The base has flaking old paint, but no dents or rust. There has never been a globe on the top of it, nor have there ever been site glass panels on eithre side. All the internals aer intact.
The ad glass panels are original and are in excellent shape with no cracks or chips. Even the original glass door panels are intact and are not cracked (the cracked appearanec in the first photo is the reflection of tree limbs). I'm offering it at no reserve and at a very fair starting price. It must be picked up at my warehouse in mayfield, kentucky. Pump in similar condition and our other.
