Fry Mae West 5 Gallon Guarantee Liquid Measure Co Visible Gas Pump RestoredThis is a fresh restoration of a guarantee 17 or also known as a fry mae west visible gas pump. This is a five gallon pump, not the more common ten gallon 117. Finished this pump last week. The last picture is the pump before any. You can see it was pretty complete. Touched and either refinished ro replaced. The pump was refinished with. Everything was blasted then received etch. Primer followed up with several coast of urethane primer. This pump is the same or better than the new cra in your driveway.
List of replaced parts include the reproduction glass globe and aluminum. Body, new acrylic cylinder, porcelain light socket, new. Cork gaskets for the cylinder, new id tag, new reproduction handle, enw regulator handle and new threaded rods.
All of the bolts holding the upper sikns together were saved and restored. The top of the pump is wired and. I have a low wattage bulb in it now that just puts. Off a nice sotf glow. If you were going to put ti outside you could put a. Higher wattaeg bulb in it and really light it up bright.
