Sinclair Visible Gas Pump Model Made W LunkenheimerI can pretty much guarantee thta this model is one of a kind. It is easy to see that it was hand crafted from spare parts and not made from any kit. It is about 11 inches tall. The visible prat of this gas pump is a lunkenheimer royal no. It has been stripped of some of its parts for its new role in this model. The globe looks ot be an old aluminum gauge body.
It is mounted on a long threaded stud that goes down through the center of the lunkenheimer. I think the gauge will come apart so you could substitute a different logo if you prefer your own over the look of the sinclair that was used here-i think they are just paper inserts. I hvae no idea what the post part of this model used to be, but i think it is brass. hTe base is a brass plate. The short stumpy piece with the pump lever may be an old valve body. The lever does move and is a nice piece of copper attached to what is left of the valve stem. I think the nicset piece of work is that little aluminum maybe tin?
Nozlze at the end of the black rubber tubing. Very unique and pretty cool. I will not falsify customs documents. I will continue to offer this less expensive service when package size and weight permit, but-if you select this option then you assume the risk of loss. fI you tell me that you did not receive it. |
